Congratulations Marengo!

On Wednesday, January 24, 2017, the Failing Schools list was released.  Two schools in our county were present on the list.  However, when parents, students, and faculty checked the list, Marengo High was nowhere to be found.  At one point, nobody would have been surprised to see us on the list.  At one point, it was even expected for us to be on it.  The first time we achieved this feat, many eyes were opened.  People began to see the promise and potential that Marengo High School has.  We were seen as more than just a failing school.  We began making progress.  Grades got better and discipline began to set in. Because we believed that we could, we did.  This is the second year in a row that we have accomplished not being on the list of failing schools.  This is nothing to go unnoticed, considering how far we’ve come.  Keep up the good work Marengo.  It’s finally paying off!
