I have been coaching Girl's Basketball for about 30 years and Track for 20 years.



Bio

Hello and welcome to my website. I am Marilyn Miller, the 7-12 Resource teacher, girls basketball and track coach at Marengo High School. I was born in Wilcox County, Al. I am married to Rev. David Miller and the mother of four girls: Santrella, Davitta, Davonyae and Danaea. Santrella has finished college and is teaching 4th grade in Gulfport, MS. Davitta graduated in May 2018 Magma Cum Laude from Alabama State University. DaVonyae graduated Valedictorian in May 2018 from Marengo High School and will be attending Alcorn State University in the fall and Danaea will be a 10th grader. I am dedicated to making each year a productive teaching and learning experience. As a teacher, I try to touch the lives and hearts of my students in such a way that they will enjoy being lifetime learners.

     As an educator in the Marengo County School System, I know the joys of helping in the molding of a student into becoming a productive citizen for Marengo County. For I too, am a product of the Marengo County School System. I am a graduate of Marengo High School, Dixon Mills Alabama. My Motto Is, Life Is What You Make of It.
